Hi everyone! My name is Catarina, but you can call me Kiki, everyone else does, and honestly, it’s a lot easier to shout across a crowded bar. I’m from sunny Portugal, so naturally, I bring the warmth… and maybe a little wine knowledge. I've been a proud member of EBF for three years and had the pleasure of contributing to both the TEDx and Introduction Committees. This year, I’m thrilled to take on the role of International Ambassador, your friendly guide to all things EBF and beyond!
When I’m not busy yapping with friends or thrifting unique knick-knacks, you might find me at an EBF party. Fair warning: I will 100% ask you to do the “4” test to check your sobriety, even though I can’t do it myself. It's a tradition at this point!
So, whether you spot me strolling around the city or campus, don’t hesitate to come say hi—I’m always up for a chat, a laugh, or just sharing tips on surviving student life. Looking forward to getting to know you all!
The International Welcome Center North, together with Make it in the North, is hosting the “How to Find a Student Job?” event. This event aims to help students discover part-time job opportunities in the North, such as working at cafés, supermarkets, or retail stores. It also aims to help non-EU students understand the rules and regulations regarding having a part-time job based on their residence permit.
You can sign up for the event here!
